Parish Councils

Parish Councils

To assist the parish priest with parish needs, there are two councils consisting of parishioners selected by the pastor.

1. Parish Finance Council (PFC)

A Parish Finance Council is a consultative body that works with the pastor directing the financial and administrative matters of the parish. Through quarterly meetings, the Finance Council balances the expenses against the income revenue. From time to time, the Finance Council also manages specific time-consuming projects to allow the Pastor more time for his ministry.

2. Parish Pastoral Council (PPC

A PPC is a consultative, faith-filled group of parishioners who work in conjunction with the pastor on pastoral issues. The PPC is representative of and speaks on behalf of the faithful of the parish. It discerns the needs of all the members of the parish community and works with the pastor in establishing effective pastoral planning.
